Lucy 68L has been an outstanding producing female in our herd since we purchased her in the 2006 Shadybrook sale.  She was our pick of the sale offering because of her tremendous depth of body and capacity. She has had 2 bull calves that were in the top selling end of our last two bull sales. In 2009, she has a Leroy heifer calf that will be in our show herd, and will be retained here. We could use a bunch of cows like Lucy as she is easy fleshing, good uddered, and trouble free, so we are planning to flush her after she calves in 2010.
